Start with the live scene
Periapsis opens on a live global view. Move around first, then use the controls at the edge of the scene to investigate a target.
Drag to move the current view and scroll to zoom.
Drag with one finger to move the view, pinch to zoom, and use the controls without leaving the scene.

Find a satellite
This is the satellite menu. After the tour, choose Satellites and search by name or catalogue number.
Selecting a result adds its orbit and card; use its Focus control when you want to follow it.

Choose the right view
This is the layout control. After the tour, it switches between the globe and map views so you can use whichever makes a pass easiest to read.
On a wide desktop display, it can also place the two views side by side.
On a phone, globe and map switch one at a time; split views are desktop-only.

Move through time
This is the time readout. After the tour, open it to pause, change the time warp, jump to a moment, or return to real time.

This is the body selector. After the tour, use it to move between planets, moons, dwarf planets, and selected small bodies.

See the scene from your place
This location control can place a pin if you choose to grant browser permission. This tour never requests your location.
Afterward, the nearby Point of View control lets you look from the selected location.
